International Association of Administrative Professionals Holds Successful 2004 Convention and Education Forum in Washington, D.C. 

More than 2,100 administrative assistants, office managers, executive secretaries and other administrative professionals from around the world assembled August 1-4, 2004 at Marriott Wardman Park Hotel in Washington, D.C. for the 59th Annual International Convention and Education Forum of the International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP). 

Convention attendees participated in a variety of educational seminars and workshops, heard thought-provoking presentations by world-renowned keynote speakers, conducted association business, learned about the latest office products and services at the Office Expo, and had numerous opportunities to network and renew friendships with international colleagues.

At the convention's closing ceremonies and banquet Wednesday evening, August 4, IAAP presented its annual "Award for Excellence" to Bama Companies, Inc. of Tulsa OK and Monsanto Company of St. Louis MO for their outstanding policies and programs supporting the advancement of administrative staff.
